Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Castalume Limited ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Castalume.

2. The service

Castalume generates advertising videos using AI, including scripts, presenters, voiceovers and edited video, via third-party AI providers. Output quality is not guaranteed and may vary.

3. Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your password secure, be old enough to form a binding contract in your country, and are responsible for activity on your account.

4. Acceptable use

Your use is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited use (impersonation, unlawful deepfakes, deceptive or illegal ads) may lead to immediate suspension and content removal without refund.

5. Content ownership & licence

Subject to payment and these Terms, you own the final videos you export, except for third-party assets (stock music, provider avatars) which remain licensed, not sold. You grant us a licence to process your inputs to provide the service.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload (logos, faces, footage, product info).

6. Payment

Paid plans and credits are billed as described at checkout and in our Refund & Billing Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. We don't warrant that output is accurate, lawful for your use, or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and clearing every ad before you publish it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Castalume Limited's total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of exported videos, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Termination

You can close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the AUP.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory local law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version is 2026-07-04. Material changes will be notified. Contact: legal@castalume.com.
